I just got the nicest email from someone in my creative writing class. I wrote a short story that was going to be work-shopped today in class but we ran out of time, and so one person messaged me saying he wished we had gone over it because he loved it so much and had a bunch of his cousins read it and they loved it so he made copies for them.
Just… wow. This is probably the most meaningful compliment I’ve ever gotten. Like, this means more than the random drunk people who have called me pretty. Haha. Be nice if a sober person said it for once… BUT THAT’S BESIDE THE POINT. I’MMA WRITER, GUISE. This is awesome.
